When the runway is blocked, you go around and land again.

I spent 30 years selling technology in Silicon Valley, earned my wings and a black belt, and wrote Chasing Air, a novel about life’s roadblocks and reinvention. Now I help people and mission-driven teams find their next way forward.

Every career and every life hits roadblocks: a layoff, a reorganization, an illness, a move, a door that closes without warning. Drawing on three decades in a fast-changing industry and her own next chapter as an author, Caroline shows audiences how a detour often becomes the path.

Consulting

A seasoned seller for purpose-driven companies

Many mission-driven tech companies have a strong product and no one senior to sell it. I step in part-time, remotely, at a fraction of the cost of a full-time executive.

What I do

  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline
  • Open strategic partnerships and channels
  • Coach founders and junior sellers to close
  • Set up a simple, repeatable sales process

How it works

  • 10 to 15 hours a week, remote
  • A 90-day first engagement with clear goals
  • Health, climate, education and nonprofit tech
  • Continue month to month once it’s working

About Caroline

From small-town Georgia to Silicon Valley, and on to the page

Caroline grew up in the South and traveled the world before building a career in real estate and then in technology sales, where she spent more than 30 years in a field long dominated by men. Along the way she earned a second-degree black belt, flew airplanes, had an insider’s view of car racing and climbed mountains.

Her debut novel, Chasing Air, published under the name Caroline Prince, grew out of her own story. Today she writes, speaks and consults from homes in Northern California and on the Central Coast.

The book

Chasing Air

Inspired by a true story of leaving small-town Georgia for the wider world, Chasing Air follows Allison through love, loss and a life-altering accident as she learns to find peace, joy and meaning again.

“A beautifully wrought reflection on how the past shapes us, and how even in stillness, life continues to move.”
